Your couch is about to get a lot more use

A 6-step reset for the season you sit the most
The light's already going by the time you close the laptop. Instead of the walk you'd have taken in July, you're on the couch with a blanket and something queued up. Nothing wrong with that, that's the good part of fall! But watch what happens around the third episode: you shift, reach behind you, and move the pillow. Two minutes later, you move it again.
You never get uncomfortable enough to actually get up: you're just never quite settled, and some part of your attention goes to it all night. That isn't the couch's fault.
The real issue: those hours you spend sitting have gone up, and nothing about how you sit changed or improved.
So, here's a reset: six changes, none complicated, all of them with the same goal: to make sitting down better for you, and way comfier.
1. Change out of what you worked in
Get into a sweatshirt or cozy sweatpants, grab blanket and a warm, comforting drink. This draws a line: the workday ended, and your body should be told.
2. Pick the sound before you sit down
Soft music, an audiobook, a show you've already seen twice. Decide first, because scrolling for something to put on is its own twenty minutes. And hey: if the answer tonight is silence, that counts.
3. Fix your seat

This is the one people skip, and it's the one that determines how the other five go. You see: your couch was built to look good in a room. Deep, soft, and generous; which means you sink in, and once you've sunk, your back has nothing behind it. So you build the pillow pile. One
behind the lower back, one wedged sideways...and the whole arrangement collapses the first time you reach for the remote.
Ready Rocker goes behind you and stays there. Put it on the couch, the office chair, or the bed, and you have something solid at your back plus a gentle rock — support that doesn't need rebuilding every time you move. Sitting up straighter stops being something you have to
keep remembering.
4. Get up before you need to
Sitting still for extended periods of time is the actual problem, not the furniture itself. Pick a time — end of an episode, end of a
chapter — and stand up, walk the hallway, or stretch for two minutes. You can add a session with the EMS Pulse Massager to the end of the workday if that's part of your routine. The point isn't the stretch: it's not sitting frozen in one position from the moment you sit down until you go to bed.
5. Handle the one spot that's louder than the rest
Some nights it's the lower back, some nights it's the neck. The Lumbar Support Belt and Neck Brace are there for when one area needs more than general support: use whichever fits and follow the directions that come with it.
6. Give the night an official ending
Dim the lights, stretch, rock for a few minutes. Same order, every night. Do it long enough and you stop having to decide it's bedtime: your body will get there first.
Fall doesn't need to be the season you spend rearranging pillows. The days get shorter, the temperature drops, you're indoors more. Set the seat up once, and the rest of the evening is yours.
Ready Rocker adds firm support and a gentle rock to the seat you already own: the couch, the office chair, the bed. No pillow pile to rebuild every time you reach for the remote!
